Pesto hummus and garlic tortilla chips

Pesto hummus is a lighter version of the classic hummus and thanks to fresh basil it also has a beautifully distinctive taste. It's great as a savoury snack, but also as an appetizer if you're expecting a visitor. Combined with crispy garlic tortilla chips, everyone will love this quick dip.

Ingredients

Pesto hummus

  • 1/2 can of chickpeas
  • 20 g basil
  • 1 tablespoon tahini paste
  • lime juice
  • 1 or 2 ice cubes
  • salt, pepper
  • dried garlic
  • spoonful of delicatessen yeast

Tortilla chips

  • 2 larger tortillas
  • a teaspoon of olive oil
  • dried bear garlic (or other spices to taste)

Method

  1. Start by preparing the tortilla chips. Cut the tortilla into triangles, spray each with a little oil and sprinkle with spices. Bake them on baking paper either in the oven or in a hot air fryer.
  2. Then simply put the ingredients for the hummus pesto in a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Put the hummus on the plate first, spread it all over, sprinkle it with herbs, nuts or seeds and add a few drops of oil.
